“Speaking the Truth in Love” (Eph 4:15): Improving Family Communication
How do we dialogue with family members? Does our style of communication bring harmony and communion—or conflict and frustration? This is an invitation to discuss the ways we speak, listen, and understand one another.
We are blessed Rev. Fr. Alex Goussetis will be facilitating the workshop. Fr. Alex is the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese's Director of the Center for Family Care. Prior to his appointment to the Center, Fr. Alex served more than twenty years as a parish priest, taught World Religion classes at the university level, and authored four books on Orthodox life and faith. His pastoral emphasis is making the Orthodox faith relevant for families in their everyday lives, and encouraging participation in all facets of our Holy Tradition. Fr. Alex is also the host of the Family Matters podcast on Ancient Faith Radio He and his team are dedicated to helping parishes promote family wellness and spiritual development in the family. We are thrilled he has committed to providing an important seminar to our community.
This event is for everyone! There is no cost to attend; we respectfully request attendees pre-register in order for us to provide ample breakfast for everyone. Also, we will be offering babysitting so that young families can participate.
We ask for your prayers and appreciate your support of what we hope will be an annual learning opportunity for the Delaware Valley Pan-Orthodox community. Thank you!
Please join us on Saturday, October 7th for a FREE workshop open to ALL ADULTS.
Registration deadline is September 30th.
